Since I wanted to have the latest possible directshow filters from version 8.0 and needed the better player.
#Cyberlink powerdvd 7.3 skin
<-This is too annoyingĤ) Redesigning UI skin completely to fix various limitations introduced in version 8 Player bloat and user interface limitations:ģ) Being forced to see the Resume playback every time. They are working on a future release (Version 8.5) which will eventually address the below mentioned problems: PowerDVD works fine when used to play DVD's directly.Įdit: sorry forgot to mention, I'm using Zoom Player 5.02 and PowerDVD 7.Cyberlink support confirmed last week that they are not planning on fixing any of the issues they currently have with PowerDVD 8.0 player (that didn't exist in version 7.3).
It also works using Cyberlink for ONLY the video. Zoom player plays dvds fine using dscaler and/or ffmpeg for video/audio. Running these apps with administrative access does not help or change any of the symptoms.Īlso I notice that with Cyberlink's navigator enabled Zoom Player chokes on menus. though I still wouldn't mind any additional info any one here has. This of course indicates that it is in fact not a Zoom Player problem but rather a cyberlink problem (possibly related to vista). No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection. Verify type compatibility of input pin and output pin. These filters cannot agree on a connection. When attempting to make these connections in graphedit I get the exact same error each time:
I also tried using Cyberlink's audio renderer: Power DVD claims it does.įor myself at least this still does not allow me to play DVDs in zoom player using the cyberlink audio decoder. but then again I'm not sure MS's navigator supports the new features in Blueray. This particular error can be remodied by going into the zoom player options and in the dvd section, using smart playback method set the "dvd navigator filter" to use cyberlinks navigator, you will get a warning about how using something other than MS's navigator may not work correctly. I can provide a small ammount of additional info Within the "Options -> DVD Setup" dialog.Ĩ0040207: Es ist kein Standardmedientyp zwischen diesen Filteranschlüssen vorhanden. Is an "Additional Filter", try unchecking it in the Options Dialog.įor more Information, press on the "Verify Selected Setup" button Now I wanted to ask here if that is a Problem of ZoomPlayer and if that can be solved by any trick. I contacted Cyberlink and asked if they restricted the Decoder so that it cannot be used in 3rd Party Players but they definitely say no.there's no restriction. I then installed the AC3 Filter and marked it instead of the Cyberlink Audio Decoder in DVD Options. There's a filter connection error with the Audio Decoder.
#Cyberlink powerdvd 7.3 Patch
I recently updated my PowerDVD 7.3 with the latest Patch and after that it is not possible to play a DVD in ZoomPlayer.
